    Article Summary

dFac provides more than fifteen reports about appointments, tenure dates, leaves, and personal data for faculty. The dFac reports display data in a grid format, which enables you to download the data into Excel (XLS) or other file formats. Once downloaded, you can manipulate and format the data as needed for your purposes.

To access the reports, click the Reports link on the dFac toolbar.

On the Reports page, dFac offers two options for generating and displaying reports:

    1. ** SAP GUI reports** are for Windows users who have the SAP program installed on their computers. The SAP reports use the same reporting dialog boxes and windows used in SAP, so SAP users may find these reports more familiar.
Note: you do not need access to SAP to use the SAP GUI reports. However, you do need the SAP GUI program installed. Unsure? Contact your local IT staff who handles hardware and software for your organization.
    2. HTML reports don’t require the SAP program to run, and they can be used in any browser, even on Macintosh computers.

This booklet describes how to use the SAP GUI reports as well as the HTML reports. If you do not have the SAP program, follow the instructions to use the HTML reports.
